Our Installation Process
Proper installation is crucial for artificial grass to look and perform its best. We begin by removing the existing lawn to a depth of approximately 75mm. We then install a compacted aggregate base, typically Type 1 MOT, followed by a layer of sharp sand, which is levelled to create a perfectly smooth surface. A weed-suppressing membrane prevents any growth from beneath. The artificial grass is then carefully rolled out, trimmed to shape, and joined with specialist tape and adhesive. Silica sand infill is brushed in to support the fibres and add weight. The result is a lawn that looks and feels remarkably natural.
Choosing the Right Artificial Grass
We offer a range of artificial grass products to suit different budgets and uses. Pile heights range from 20mm for a closely cropped look to 40mm for a lush, deep lawn feel. Colour options include natural mixed greens with brown thatch for a realistic appearance. For children's play areas, we recommend softer, bouncier products with additional shock-absorbing underlay. For pet owners, we use products with enhanced drainage and antimicrobial properties. We bring samples to your home so you can see and feel the options in your own garden before deciding.
